The logo of the band is known as the Queen Crest,
and was designed by Freddie Mercury. It includes the
zodiac signs of all four members: two lions for Leo
(Taylor and Deacon), a crab for Cancer (May), and two
fairies for Virgo (Mercury). The lions are holding a
large letter Q. The whole logo is topped by a phoenix
Founded by Brian May and Roger Taylor who were in the band Smile. At the same time Farrokh Bulsara aka Freddie
Mercury sang in another rock band WRECKAGE. One year later he was introduced to the band SMILE. It happened after
the first meeting with Roger Taylor and Brian May. However the name didin`t remain. Freddie changed it to QUEEN. The
fourth member of this group - John Deacon was asked to join them to play bass guitar...the band came to popularity
during the mid-1970s and has since amassed an enormous worldwide fanbase that continues to exist to this day.  As of
2005, according to The Guinness Book of World Records, Queen albums have spent a total of 1,422 weeks or
twenty-seven years on the United Kingdom album charts; more time than any other musical act including The Beatles
and Elvis Presley.[66] Also in 2005, with the release of their live album with Paul Rodgers, Queen moved into third place
on the list of acts with the most aggregate time spent on the British record charts
