

| The trio Peter, Paul and Mary (often PP&M) is a musical group from the United States; they were one of the most successful singing groups of the 1960s. The trio comprises Peter Yarrow, Noel "Paul" Stookey and Mary Travers. PPM captured the attitude of the 60s w/thought-provoking lyrics & artful harmonies. In 1978, they reunited for a concert to protest nuclear energy, and have recorded albums together and toured since. The group was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999 & received Peter, Paul and Mary received the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award from Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2006. |
