| One of the first and most influential metal bands of the 80s. If Motley Crue was a band with nine lives, then they're probably now cashing in on number eight. Surviving numerous brushes with death (car crashes, drug overdoses, onstage mishaps, firearms accidentally going off), plenty of bad PR (drunk-driving accidents, failed marriages to starlets, accusations of devil-worship), myriad stylistic changes, a major lineup shift and a reunion--not to mention countless fashion faux pas--the Crue are still alive 'n' kickin'. |

| I recently saw Vince Neil playing live at the East Cannery in Las Vegas. The show was awesome and the crowd was great. I hear they're starting a new tour in December; they'll be playing with Def Leppard and kicking off in the UK. |
