One of the first and most influential metal bands of the 80s. If Motley Crue was a band with nine lives, then
they're probably now cashing in on number eight. Surviving numerous brushes with death (car crashes,
drug overdoses, onstage mishaps, firearms accidentally going off), plenty of bad PR (drunk-driving
accidents, failed marriages to starlets, accusations of devil-worship), myriad stylistic changes, a major
lineup shift and a reunion--not to mention countless fashion faux pas--the Crue are still alive 'n' kickin'.
