John Mayer set down roots in Atlanta, where his music career hit the ground running. Since the 1999 release of
Inside Wants Out, a homemade effort which John Mayer sold at his shows and distributed himself and his major
label debut Room For Squares in September 2001, Mayer has crisscrossed the U.S., building an ever-widening fan
base. His first two studio albums, Room for Squares and Heavier Things, did well commercially, achieving
multi-platinum status. In 2003, he won a Best Male Pop Vocal Performance Grammy for "Your Body Is a Wonderland"
